I am watching Late Night with David Letterman and this is such a joke. Mainly I am watching to see how many ads Obama was able to buy in this time slot on this station. So far I have seen 2 McCain ads and some stupid Netflix ad. Stay tuned for updates!
I was watching Fox News today and I heard that Obama was able to get the Game 6 of the World Series delayed by 15 minutes. How in hell do you get that done? It’s the World Series for crying out loud!! Does he want to take every last thing America stands for and mess it up?
This UNAMERICAN inconvenience to the entire world of baseball fans is important to Obama for a couple reasons.
Follow up:
One - this would be the first time a network has moved the start time for an event back due to political advertising.
Two – this World Series will involve the Phillies and the possibly Tampa Bay Rays, both of whom sit in key swing states in this election.
I never said Obama or his campaign was stupid.

I am looking at Obama’s plan and promises and all I can see is his plan to make us a Nation of Slackers who are so dependent on our government that we will be forced to continue on to full blown socialism and never re-elect a Republican because we will be hooked on that check and expect the hand outs.
Whatever happened to a Honest Days Pay for an Honest Days Work?
Yes, I said hand outs! The Democratic Party has like to use the words “a hand up” but they really know what it is…it is a hand out. Barack is acting more like Robin Hood than a leader. I am looking at all the things he promises and I just can’t understand where it is good.

Tax Cuts for those making less than 250,000 – Ok, well on the surface this sounds great because when you look at your paycheck every month you cuss the taxes that come out. So yeah, at first glance Americans will love that. But then let’s look a little harder, more than 40% of those people who are getting this cut aren’t even paying income taxes and will get a check back instead of just a cut. “HAND OUT”
Tax Increase on the Large Corporations – Again on the surface sounds great! We have been paying over 3 bucks a gallon for gas, even though my husband swears it should ever be over 99 cents, so we are happy to let the government tax them more and then give it back to the “little people” HAND OUT!
Education – Hire a new army of teachers – I actually don’t mind this part.
College – Every student who wants to go to college should get to.
Again good on the surface – Kids should get to go to college ok, Obama wants them to do a little community service for paid tuition. Here is the problem, if kids are going to be used to seeing the hand outs are they really going to work as hard? I know from experience that if you work for something and pay for it you appreciate it more and work harder to keep.
How about this. If you want to go to college, work hard in high school and get good grades, show you are willing to work for what you get, how about a part time job maybe even some tutoring for the community service part and the government can give colleges more money to award in scholarships with actual criteria to order to receive that money not just give it to every kid that thinks he wants to go to college and wastes 10 grand in the first year only to realize “WOW! You really have to work at this!” Let’s face it not everyone is cut out for college some are suppose to be working at Wal-Mart and factories. Throwing money at every kid without really looking at them and instead of worrying about hurting their feelings we need to guide them in the right direction if it is not college.
Here is another option. Join the military. Do your service to the country and the military will make sure you get that education that you work for. Obama must think that is too hard – Oh wait maybe not he actually said that he was to have to open up the draft he was going to include females. Didn’t hear much about that did ya? Want to know why? That could be a deal breaker for him. No matter if you are die hard Democrat that may set you on fire!! It goes back to the old time feeling of men take care of their women. Still to this day men do not want to see women in a position of potential harm. Yes, I know that there are women in the military and even in combat now, but they chose to be there, they enlisted. Bottom Line – if you force women to be included in the draft – YOU WILL LOSE VOTES!
